Sealkept exists so that the things you mean to say are said, even if life doesn't give you the chance to say them in person.
Why it exists
Most of us mean to say it.
Ask people what they'd want their family to hear, and most can answer straight away. Ask whether they've written it down, and almost nobody has. It isn't for lack of love. It's that there's never a good evening for it, and nowhere obvious to keep it.
Old answers to this were a letter in a drawer or an email timer that sends everything if you miss a click. One gets lost; the other can frighten the people you love by mistake.
Sealkept is a quieter alternative. You write when you're ready, check in now and then, and your words are only delivered after reminders, an optional trusted verifier, a gentle alert and a grace period you choose.

Nothing is ever sent on a single missed check-in. Every release passes through reminders, optional verification, a soft alert and a grace period.

Messages are encrypted at rest and handled under GDPR. We describe exactly what that means, and we don't claim more than we do.

This is about love, not death. Our words, design and emails are written to feel like a letter, not a warning.
You're always in control
Pause, edit, reschedule or delete at any time. Nothing is final until it's delivered.
Built to last
Your messages may wait decades. We plan for continuity and publish what happens if we ever close.
One fair price
One small price includes everything, and a lapsed payment never stops a delivery. If something happens to you, your card may stop working; your letters still arrive.

Sealkept is made by Sealkept Ltd, a small, independent company based in Dublin, Ireland. We build and run the service ourselves, from the check-in engine to the emails your family would receive.
We are product designers and engineers who care about privacy, good writing and getting the details right in a part of life where details matter.
What Sealkept isn't
Sealkept isn't a will, a legal service or a password manager, and it doesn't replace an executor. It's for personal messages and practical instructions, and works best alongside those things.
